When do I have to put my wheelie bin out?
Please have your kiwibin kerbside, facing the street by 7am on your collection day.
How soon can I get my bin?
We will aim to drop your kiwibin off within 3 days.
In a hurry for your bin? Please contact us on 06 368 8586 as we can often have a bin to you the same or next day.
What is the Maximum Weight I can put in my kiwibin?
120 litre kiwibin - 15kg
240 litre kiwibin - 30kg
What can't I put in my kiwibin?
Please DO NOT put any of the following in your kiwibin, as we cannot accept it.
Toxic, dangerous or hazardous waste including paint tins, battery oil, oil containers etc.
Hot ashes
Liquid waste
Engine or car parts including tyres
Glass or sharp objects must be wrapped
Concrete, bricks, stones, soil or clay
Large branches or pieces of wood
Timber offcuts
Whiteware or microwaves
How do I show my kiwibin some TLC?
Please treat your kiwibin with care
- Wrap or bag your rubbish first
- Keep it clean
- Don’t compact rubbish in – this can cause the bin to split
- Only fill with general household rubbish and green waste
- Don’t over-fill… the lid should be able to shut.
